Hi,
How difficult would it be support the Synology NAS DS-213j in Debian?
The device has a Marvell Armada 370/XP SoC which is supported by the
mainline Kernel. The CPU is single core and has a hardware floating
point unit. Is this CPU supported by the armhf Debian port and what
needs to be done to support this device directly by the Debian
installer?
Regards,
Alexander

No, it won't be recognized by the installer. Unfortuntely, every new
ARM devices requires some special code.

My time is quite limited these days but if you send an email to the
debian-arm list I'm sure someone will be able to assist.

No problem.
