I wouldn't expect it to be, but I've not seen comparisons of output
size with different cross-toolchains. Everyone tests for speed :-)

There is presumably some variation over gcc 4.4, 4.5, 4.6, 4.7. I
don't know if newer ones do a better job of 'smaller' or not.
