RE: Filesystems for Debian NSLU2

SLUG:~# apt-cache search reiser
cpudyn - CPU dynamic frequency control for processors with scaling
gpart - Guess PC disk partition table, find lost partitions
libaal-dev - Reiser4's application abstraction library
libparted1.7-1 - The GNU Parted disk partitioning shared library
libparted1.7-dbg - The GNU Parted disk partitioning library debug
development files
libparted1.7-dev - The GNU Parted disk partitioning library development
files
libparted1.7-i18n - The GNU Parted disk partitioning library i18n support
libreiser4-dev - Reiser4's filesystem access and manipulation library
mondo-doc - manual for Mondo, a powerful disaster recovery suite
parted - The GNU Parted disk partition resizing program
partimage - backup partitions into a compressed image file
partimage-doc - Partition Image User Documentation
reiser4progs - administration utilities for the Reiser4 filesystem
reiserfsprogs - User-level tools for ReiserFS filesystems
testdisk - Partition scanner and disk recovery tool

Going by that, I probably need "reiser4progs", for fsck and mkfs... And then
maybe "reiserfsprogs"

Does that sound right?

Then unmount the partition, reformat it, and remount, and use away to my
hearts content?

Cheers

Sam

The one included in the standard kernel is ok.

$ apt-cache search reiser
for tools to create/fsck/tune reiser volumes
