Re: Kernel CRC error on NSLU2

I have not seen this problem before.

Try flashing

http://cyrius.com/debian/nslu2/files/sda1-2.6.18.dfsg.1-12.bin

to your NSLU2. This file contains a copy of the flash image that is
installed with Debian-4.0r0 (etch). If you have not changed anything
in the APEX configuration environment, or updated your initramfs (and
I think that that there have not been any package changes to etch that
will have triggered an automatic update to your initramfs), this file
should be exactly the same as what currently exists in your flash.
Even if there have been updates to your initramfs, this flash image
should work, but once you are able to boot again, you should run
flash-kernel to flash the latest initramfs that is stored in /boot.

If flashing the file does not result in a bootable system, then try
flashing SlugOS to see if that kernel boots. Flashing SlugOS will not
affect your Debian installation that exists on your disk. If SlugOS
works, then flash the image referenced above again.
