... for ixp4xx, yes.  But there are other platforms, e.g. iop32x, that
are supported and feature nice hardware, e.g. the Thecus N2100.

Speaking of other platforms, the Buffalo Linkstation Pro is also a
very nice piece of hardware (128MB RAM, 400MHz arm9 cpu, internal
SATA2, 2x USB 2.0 ports and gigabit ethernet...), and can also run
debian.
Work is underway to port the kernel patches from Bufflalo's 2.6.12 to
a more recent "vanilla" kernel.
