Debian on thecus n2100 status

Hello,

Following http://www.cyrius.com/debian/iop/n2100/install.html

I have upgraded my firmware to http://ftp.uk.debian.org/debian/dists/etch/main/installer-arm/current/images/iop32x/netboot/n2100.bin

Once i ssh to the installer, i proceed with normal install, but i get a known error when installing kernel (stable). Then i rerun install base system and i get same errors for linux-image-2.6.18-4/5-iop32x. If i choose none, then the installer gives an error when flashing the inexixtent kernel to flash.

I also have changed Debian mirror and set it to testing, it then installs 2.6.22, but initramfs-tools fails to install.

What would be the right workarround to have the machine running Debian?
What about n2100 armel installer? Is that somewhere?
