Phillip comments:
PePLink actually has significantly more code resource available for getting
the 2.6.x kernel running on MANGA than is available directly from
sourceforge, but it hasn't distributed out of respect for the supplier /
patch provider. All the registered developers for the project have a copy of
this extra code.
Most people would be aware that the KS8695 SoC (ARM922T) used in the MANGA
is supplied by Micrel. Micrel provided PePLink with a complete 2.6.6 port
(with PCI bus and Ethernet driver patches) some time ago, but it was in
_alpha_ quality. Rather than publish this broadly without "permission", it's
been sent to people who've been interested in the MANGA and the 2.6.x port
work.
Anyone else interested in 2.6.x on the KS8695 (specially MANGA
implementations), is welcome to join the sourceforge project.
It is PePLink's goal to produce a minimum patch set for the MANGA which can
be included in the Kernel main-line, and to work towards a functioning
Debian installer for the MANGA.
