Not easily if you have an original series 5. If you have a seris 5mx then
yes, it's very easy.
Go to http://www.psilinux.org/ (actually linux-7110 @sourceforge)
The 'dpkg' distribution for the 5mx there is a stripped-down debian woody.
Follow the HOWTOto get it installed.
There is also a familiar-based ipkg distribution for the same machine.
Unfortunately the series 5 has been rather left being by events as it only
has a very old kernel working (unless anyone has got the 2.4 port working
recently). Go to the site and mailinglist to see what the current state of
play is. I've not checked for a month or so.
A commercial release of this software is due in the next few months from
POS Ltd, Psion specialists.
