Request for (re-)compilation
Arm'ers,
The r-base and octave2.1 packages used to depend on atlas2. But as atlas2 did
not compile widely, r-base and octave2.1 were effectively held back.
After a substantial amount of work on Camm's part, the atlas2 dependency is
no virtual. Both r-base and octave2.1 are being built against blas1 (which
exists everywhere); and atlas2 can replace the blas1 libs where available.
AFAICT arm is the last architecture on which r-base and octave2.1 are not yet
available (cf below for madison output). Could you do me a favour and give
it a shot for (re-)compilation?
Thanks, Dirk
r-base | 1.3.1-1 | unstable | source, alpha, i386, m68k, powerpc, sparc
octave2.1 | 2.1.34-6 | unstable | source, alpha, i386, m68k, powerpc
