testing a package on big endian archs
hi,
i have dcd, a consoel cd player, which uses sha. sha depends on
the endianess of the computer. since initially the endianess
should be selected manually (i.e. adding/removing comments in a
header file) i built it a bit more properly. nevertheless i would
like to test it on big endian systems.
requirements: arm based computer (surprise, surprise ;)), cd
drive, sound card (all functioning) and a music cd (another
surprise ;)).
you can get the source at http://people.debian.org/~othmar/.
anyone who does it, may report any results, positive and negativ,
but i like the former ones more :).
and btw. use a kernel > .14 because there was some kind of bug in
< .15 which seems to refuse to play cds with dcd. you would see
it anyway :).
thanks in advance
Othmar
