Package: apache2.2 Version: 2.2.3 Severity: important Some days ago, I upgraded to Apache2.2. When running, it appears that after some hours, the machine's load is around 12 or 15 with five Apache processes using 19.7% o CPU. I don't know why this happens, but I definitely can say that it's not caused by a malfunctioning PHP script or so since I use CGI for this, and it's not a php-cgi process, but an Apache one. Apache still works in this case, but it makes the whole machine very slow (that's why I chose "important"). If you need more information, let me know how to gather it. Thanks. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15-1-686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968)

Since updating to 2.2.3-3.2 (or maybe already -3.1), the problem is gone. -- Peter Thomassen • Steigerwaldstr. 4 • 97076 Würzburg • Germany http://www.peter-thomassen.de/ • mail@peter-thomassen.de fon +49-931-2705351 • mobil +49-176-63159879Attachment: pgpqlCOeRFLYz.pgp
