Bug#273258: Apache2 does not installs: post-installation script returned error exit

Package: apache2-mpm-worker
Version: 2.0.51-2

Some time ago I've been using apache2-2.0.49, but removed it after
that (including apt-get remove apache2-common, but left configuration files
intact), and today wanted to install the fresh version again. Could not do it
though, cause got the following log:

srv_castle:/home/honeyman# apt-get install apache2-mpm-worker

I am using the Debian Sarge/i386 snapshot from June 19, 2004, selectively upgraded to
latest Sarge packages (libgcc1, apache2, ssh and probably some less important
packages), kernel 2.6.6-1, libc6 2.3.2.ds1-13 . Apache2 is 2.0.51-2.
