Bug#273019: apache2-mpm-worker: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Package: apache2-mpm-worker
Version: 2.0.51-2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
while installing apache2 for the first time, I have the following during
apt-get -f install:
Setting up apache2-mpm-worker (2.0.51-2) ...
dpkg: error processing apache2-mpm-worker (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
I had to comment the following lines in /var/lib/dpkg/info/apache2-mpm-worker.postins
#set -e
#if [ "$1" != "configure" ]; then
# exit 0
#fi
and run this script manually; then apt-get runs OK
