Package: apache
Version: 1.3.23-1
Severity: normal
The logrotate postrotate contains:
/etc/init.d/apache reload > /dev/null
If apache is not running for whatever reason, this fails and generates an
error email:
/etc/cron.daily/logrotate:
error running shared postrotate script for /var/log/apache/*.log
run-parts: /etc/cron.daily/logrotate exited with return code 1
The script should check to see whether apache is running before reloading.
