grep shtml /etc/apache/*
srm.conf:DirectoryIndex index.html index.shtml index.htm welcome.html
srm.conf:AddIcon /icons/layout.gif .html .shtml .htm .pdf
srm.conf:AddType text/html .shtml
srm.conf:AddHandler server-parsed .shtml

Otherwise it wouldn't be loading the page...
