Well, I'm glad to hear that apacheconfig is being phased out; but I
wonder if now is the time for this?  Assuming you don't get more help,
how soon do you expect apache+debconf to be ready?  This seems like a
major change to be making this close to release, and until your new
code is ready, this RC bug will hold many other packages out of testing.
Perhaps it would be better to use the quick fix for this RC bug, and
then try to get debconf support in once apache is up-to-date in testing?
