Package: apache
Version: 1.3.9-13.2
Severity: normal

I can't have a second instance of apache, with configuration files in other directory, running in my machine,
I copied all files in /etc/apache to /usr/local/aptix/etc/apache, edited them
to use a different DocumentRoot, Scoreboardfile, Logs, Locks, etc.
But when I try to start ir with
apache -d /usr/local/aptix/etc/apache, it complains of an error in
/etc/apache/srm.conf: does not understand "UserDir" because user_dir module is
not loaded. In the version of smr.conf that is in /usr/local/aptix/etc/apache
"UserDir" is commented out, so I'm sure it's parsing the wrong file.

Trying to start it with apache -d /usr/local/aptix/etc/apache -f /usr/local/aptix/etc/apache/httpd.conf (and even multiple -f's; one per configuration file) does not seem to help.

It seems like this works just fine in woody at least, where I have a
setup which uses different config files, but the same binary. Closing
this bug.
