The only native Java PLUGIN for amd64 today is the Blackdown release of 1.4 from a couple of years ago. Blackdown has stopped work through, so I'm not sure if you can still get the package directly from them. Other than that, the current rumor is that a 64-bit plugin will be available in Dolphin (Java 1.7.
