Re: Dell 1950 Boot Problem

Alex,

Chris Knight has a great blow by blow description of installing etch on the 1950.  I have used the basic process with a few tweaks on three different 1950s.

Hi,

i got now the Dell 1950 Server. While the installation of the
Debian-testing-amd64 everything works well. When i reboot the system it
get stuck when mounting the hd (raid1 megaraid_sas). It uses /dev/sdb to
mount when grub is installed. Is this right or is there a problem with
the scsi drivers? Can someone tell me how to get it running?

Thanks
Alex
