problem with kernel
hi U all,
i try to reinstall my graphic card - but system said that it cannot be
done because of problem with kernel...
...i think i found problem - in control center - linux kernel - i
found following information:
*
* The kernel configuration could not be read due to the following error:
*
* No hardware architecture was specified! Perhaps the kernel source
* code is not installed on this system, or the path to the kernel sources
* is entered incorrectly.
*
* Either your kernel sources contain invalid configuration rules or you
* just found a bug in the KDE Kernel Configurator.
*
and
field path to kernel source: /usr/src/linux - is not exists;
field configuration file: is empty;
field architecture: is empty;
where can i find those source file -- i'm using kernel
2.6.8-11-amd64-k8 (i was trying others kernels for amd64 and there is
same error) and how to install them...
(small detail: i don't have internet access under my new linux)
thanks in advance
bartek
p.s.: i'm using ASUS B00K - with AMD Turion64
