there doesn't seem to be a buildd log
http://buildd.debian.org/build.php?arch=&pkg=fglrx-driver
weird

I tried to compile it from the source :
downloaded all 3 files (.orig.tar.gz, .diff .dsc)
created the directory
dpkg-source -x fglrx-driver_8.21.7-1.dsc
then
fakeroot debian/rules binary
but after a while there was the following mistake :
(cd debian/man && DRIVER_VERSION=8.21.7 ./configure --prefix=/usr --mandir=/usr/share/man --with-xserver-string=Xorg)
/bin/sh: ./configure: Permission non accorde
make: *** [debian/man/Makefile] Erreur 126
so I changed it accordingly
chmod +x debian/man/configure
but after I realized that a lot of files were downloaded from
projects.sourceforge.net while doing
/usr/bin/xsltproc fglrx_man.xsl aticonfig.1x.xml
but then
[...]
Writing fglrxinfo.1x for refentry
/usr/bin/xsltproc fglrx_man.xsl fglrx_xgamma.1x.xml
error : Operation in progress
warning: failed to load external entity "http://docbook.sourceforge.net/release/xsl/current/html/block.xsl"
compilation error: file http://docbook.sourceforge.net/release/xsl/current/html/docbook.xsl line 62 element include
xsl:include : unable to load http://docbook.sourceforge.net/release/xsl/current/html/block.xsl
make[1]: *** [fglrx_xgamma.1x] Erreur 5
make[1]: quittant le rpertoire /usr/local/src/build_src/fglrx-driver-8.21.7/debian/man
make: *** [build] Erreur 2
so, maybe there need to be some "adjustements"
;-)
