If HP's 64 bit BIOS is anything like their 32 bit BIOS
the installer should start up perfectely with just the
"nolapic" option.
I had to use that option to install Sarge on my
ze4805us.
Unless your laptop will remain plugged in, the
"noapic" option is not a good option to use on a
laptop as it will disable all powermanagement features.
