That's what I did, and the shop keeper told me he had to send the camera to 
Paris (at my expenses). Wonderfull.

I tried to send a message to Nikon support : the server crashes when reporting 
a bug not related to either MS or Mac.

In the FAQ, I found :

Nikon software is designed for Windows and Mac OS operating systems only (this 
does not include the server versions of this software). Nikon do not have any 
plans at present to support Linux, UNIX or any other operating system.

I finally deflated the Microsoft file with unzip. I'll try upgrading tonight.
