Hey Uwe, I know it's been a long time, but I just came across this thread http://kerneltrap.org/node/4925 . Somebody found the cause for the problem and solved it. Look at the last message in the thread, the rest is uninteresting. It turns out that the SiS5513 model is not specified in the driver's list of supported controllers.
