Tried it a couple of times. Also tried unpacking the .deb itself with
the same result.

This is the file I used:

http://bach.hpc2n.umu.se/gcc-3.4/pool/unstable/main/amd64/l/lilo/lilo_22.6.1-6.0.0.1.gcc4_amd64.deb

from this line in my sources.list (BTW: Should I be using
debian-pure64-3.4?):

deb http://bach.hpc2n.umu.se/gcc-3.4 sid main contrib non-free

I also checked on Alioth, but this is the same. I tried to build the
package myself, but although I have run apt-get build-dep lilo, I get
this error, which looks related:
