Problem with network card on ASRock K8Upgrade-1689
Hello,
I am running Debian GNU/Linux pure64 on a ASRock K8Upgrade-1689
motherboard. Until now, I was not able to get the network card running.
According to the ASRock product homepage
(http://www.asrock.com/product/product_K8Upgrade-1689.htm) it is a Realtek
RTL8201 10/100 Ethernet LAN PHY.
In the kernel sourcecode for sis900 there is a "RTL8201" entry, so I tried
this module. Doing a "modprobe sis900" works, but it does not detect any
Ethernet interface ("ifconfig -a" just lists the loopback device). I tried
several patches for the sis900 module I found on the net but none of them
worked for me.
Any ideas?
