How I tell if AntiVir is working?I was downloading the binaries, checking with "file antivir" och "ldd antivir", which seemed okay.
Then was running the binary, and it worked.. what more?If you're thinking about clamav; install the milter (if running sendmail like I am..) and check your incoming e-mail for new headers.. there is also a clamav-testfiles with test-signatures you can put in an e-mail to yourself..

Can I integrate virus scanning with free AntiVir into my receiving sendmail setup? To answer myself here: AntiVir from www.free-av.com seems to work on amd64 without chroot, but with ia32-libs installed. I've installed clamav via apt-get instead, and that works well too. /n
