ide module sis5513

hi there,

i have a problem with my motherboard in getting my sis ide controller running
in dma mode. the module is loaded but not used. i
modified /etc/mkinitrd/modules (see attachment) and built a new initrd by
mkinitrd. the rd-image is correctly set up in grub's menu.lst and loaded.
there seems to be some hassle with the generic driver but i don't know how to
remove the many ide-modules that are loaded at system startup since only
sis5513 mentioned in mkinitrd's modules as mentioned above. attached are some
snippets that might bring some light in the dark. i use the current stock 2.6
kernel (dmesg attached).
