I would gladly have run k3b in 64 bit mode, but I can't get it to
work. It hangs up and won't respond to the mouse at all. That is why
I thought it might work in the chroot.
My apt/sources.list gets packages from pure64, although from 'dpkg -l'
I see I also have gcc-3.4-base and gcc-3.3-base installed.
I had suspicions about QT, which is why I thought running it in chroot
(which has it's own (working) version of qt would work. Then I
discovered that skype also doesn't work in chroot, although most
programs do work in chroot.
I'm completely baffled,
Ric
