HOWTO sid or sarge netinst
I have written this a few times yet not too clearly so again:
-------------------------
1. Here is the official Debian AMD64 HOWTO:
http://alioth.debian.org/docman/view.php/30192/21/debian-amd64-howto.html
2. Find the CD images. The netinst and monolithic are easy to use.
http://debian-amd64.alioth.debian.org/install-images/
3. Choose to install sid or sarge.
4. Download an iso and burn to a CD. Reboot off the CD.
5A. For a sarge-amd64-netinst.iso use this /etc/apt/sources.list or a mirror:
deb http://debian-amd64.alioth.debian.org/debian-pure64 sarge main contrib non-free
5B. For a sid-amd64-netinst.iso use this /etc/apt/sources.list or a mirror:
deb http://debian-amd64.alioth.debian.org/pure64 sid main contrib non-free
6. There are many more possibilities, maybe more complicated too.
