Thunderbird broken
I've noticed in the last few days the Mozilla Thunderbird on Pure64 is broken.
I've tried purging and reinstalling and this is what I get:
cormallen:/home/ryanv# apt-get install mozilla-thunderbird
[ snipped apt-get chatter ]
Unpacking mozilla-thunderbird
(from .../mozilla-thunderbird_0.7.3-3_amd64.deb) ...
Setting up mozilla-thunderbird (0.7.3-3) ...
Updating mozilla-thunderbird chrome
registry...find: /var/lib/mozilla-thunderbird/extensions.d/extension.*: No
such file or directory
no extension found ... installing zeroextensions.part to Extensions.rdf
/usr/sbin/update-mozilla-thunderbird-chrome: line 125: 6396 Segmentation
fault regxpcom >/dev/null
And when trying to actually run it, I get this:
ryanv@cormallen:~$ mozilla-thunderbird
selected locale: en-US
/usr/lib/mozilla-thunderbird/run-mozilla.sh: line 159: 6465 Segmentation
fault "$prog" ${1+"$@"}
It's been broken for several days which kind of surprises me given
Thunderbird's popularity. Is this a subtle hint that I'm supposed to be
migrating from pure64 to gcc3.4? Speaking of that, is gcc3.4 now the
preferred Debian AMD64 solution?
Thanks,
Ryan VanMiddlesworth
