partimage 0.6.4 on 64bit

Hello folks,

does anybody ever got partimage 0.6.4 running on amd64? 

The deb quits with the same error on my system as the rpm on suse
9.1-x64 does, telling me something about wrong compiler used, dword 4(8)
etc. :

"error: sizeof (DWORD)!=4(8) 
This version has been compiled with an uncompatible version of gcc"

How about removing partimage from the unstable tree? I mean, if it does
not run at all, it is not even unstable :-)

Any idea how to get it running on 64 bit?

It does not compile on gentoo, too, by the way.
