amd64 installer (Debian From Scratch)

Sorry I forgot to elaborate O and E. O means boot good w/o serious errors. E
in this case means deadly serious. After displaying less than a page of
booting message, it simply halt by showing core dump. But it happened only
when I choose AMD64 image. For your reference I attach dmesg and lspci -v
output as I promised.(I pulled them out booting from x86_64 image).

I will certainly try your image this weekend, but a lot of people except Jef
Garzik himself do not understand my intention to install direct to SATA disk
with more than 15 partitions. Jef wrote me almost jokingly he will implement
SATA version at his version 2nd of libata.

John, how can I install direct to SATA disk with more than 15 partitions with
your image which can only recognize up to 15 and including 15th partition. And
one of them is extended partitions. Probably you may say there are 2 ways.
One: first install to one of SATA partitions bellow 16 partitions, then create
a debian system with a new self-compiled kernel, and using that system, install
debian to partitions of my choice. Two: create a self-comiled kernel
somewhere, then replace the kernel of DFS with it. Then using modified DFS,
install to SATA direct. I do think none of them mean "direct to SATA" in real
sense.

I am sorry to John, but I must say a lot of people simply do not understand my
situation well. And pretend to me it is easy, but to me not. Furthermore you
agree the importance of creating many partions with reasonable size, don't you?
Then if you want to add XP, and a couple of other 64-bit linux distro(Fedora,
Mandrake, Turbo, etc.), SCSI partitions limit will be easily violated.
Currently I only succeeded with Mandrake. But my favorite is debian, of
course.
