this is the via sata I presume?

please add the following to your /usr/lib/discover/pci-device.xml:

---- 8< ----

  <device busclass='0000' model='3149' vendor='1106' model_name='VIA
SATA Controller'>
    <data class='linux'>
      <data version='[2.6,inf)' class='module'>
        <data class='name'>sata_via</data>
      </data>
    </data>
  </device>

---- >8 ----

and the following to /usr/lib/discover/pci.lst

---- 8< ----

11063149 scsi sata_via VIA SATA Controller

---- >8 ----

in the region where the other via stuff (vendor 1106) resides

and try running discover -v

does it find your sata host?
