Puh, at least I've got it running. After running menuconfig again and
setting the right cpu again, I could compile a 2.4.24-x86-64 Kernel in
the woody/biarch environment. With grub the kernel is bootable with the
root-partition, that formely was the chroot-directory.

I hope Goswin has success with his new ideas and amd64 will become
easier.
