Hi. 
As far as I know, the only distibution GNU/Linux for Alpha in active development is Gentoo/Linux. 
There are attempts to recover Debian, but I think it is not stable yet.

summarizing, Our choices are:

- Gentoo/Linux (The last Linux/Alpha survivor)
- NetBSD
- OpeBSD

Hi all,

I've some time to spend with my DS20 and was wondering what is the latest Linux distro available for Alpha with a sufficiently mature development environment capable of building the system form scratch. BSD is also an acceptable answer, although I'd prefer to stick with Linux.
