porting, NMUing opportunities
Hi folks,
With the latest updates to Packages-arch-specific, the wanna-build database
for alpha is pretty well under control; this means that anyone interested in
helping with alpha porting on a relatively small scale can find a nice todo
list at <http://buildd.debian.org/stats/?arch=alpha&state=Failed>. The 48
packages on this list have been confirmed as failing to build due to bugs in
the source, and in the majority of cases bug reports have already been filed
about the issues (which are not necessarily alpha-specific).
The work needed on each package ranges anywhere from prodding the maintainer
about a promised upload, to NMUing with patches in the BTS, to deciphering
obscure build failures. :-) Any takers?
