I am tring to install some software that uses threads. As a result, I am getting a lot of zombie processes. I checked the bug report and I see that this is a known problem: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=325600 I also noticed that there is a new version of libc6.1 in unstable (2.3.6). Does anyone know if the new version fixes this bug? I don't usually like to use anything from unstable, but I will in this case if it stops the zombie threads. Chris.
