compiling kernel 2.6.4 fails (?)

Dear List

Trying to compile kernel 2.6.4 fails on my machine (alpha-rawhide):

arch/alpha/mm/numa.c: In function `setup_memory':
arch/alpha/mm/numa.c:280: warning: assignment makes integer from pointer without
a cast
arch/alpha/mm/numa.c:283: warning: passing arg 1 of `reserve_bootmem_node' makes
pointer from integer without a cast
make[2]: *** [arch/alpha/mm/numa.o] Error 1

I used:
- Debian sarge (2.4.25-1-smp)
- gcc (GCC) 3.3.3 (Debian 20040401)

Can I compile this under sarge or do I need sid for this (or is this a bug)?

Regards, Adrian Zaugg.
