Try using my MILO for Ruffian/UX based on v2.2-18, which has INITRD
support.

  ftp://ftp.digital.com/pub/DEC/Linux-ALpha/TESTING/ruffian-milo.img

This is a floppy image; you can extract the MILO using the "loop"
device option of "mount" thusly:

	mkdir /tmp/floppyimage
	mount -o loop /tmp/ruffian-milo.img /tmp/floppyimage
	cp /tmp/floppyimage/milo /tmp/milo.ruffian

Good luck.
