Compile error

hello list,

now, when i can boot automatically, i would like to compile a new
kernel.

the source is from ftp.kernel.org, 2.4.22, with openwall patch.

the make says me:

...
...
make[3]: Circular /usr/src/kernel-source-2.4.22/include/linux/netfilter_ipv4/ip_conntrack_helper.h <- /usr/src/kernel-source-2.4.22/include/linux/netfilter_ipv4/ip_conntrack.h dependency dropped.
rm -f netfilter.o
ld -r -o netfilter.o ip_conntrack.o ip_tables.o arp_tables.o arpt_mangle.o arptable_filter.o ipchains.o
ipchains.o: In function `ip_conntrack_init':
ipchains.o(.text.init+0x120): multiple definition of `ip_conntrack_init'
ip_conntrack.o(.text.init+0x40): first defined here
...
...

is this normally?
