Matrox Fb problem

Hi Folks,

I am trying to activate frame buffer on a PWS 500 au with a Matrox 
Millenium video board. I 'm running sid and used a 2.4.19 kernel (with 
frame buffer options set and matrox support as module). Init is done by SRM 
and aboot.

XFree86 4.2.1 doesn't start (I use mga driver), in /var/log, I can read no 
valid frame buffer device were found.

Please, could Somebody tell me where I am wrong ???
