The problem still exists wit 2.4.19 and cureenc gcc-2.95 on both sid
and woody.

For those, who read about this for the first time: make modules for
'generic' alpha Herbert's kernel fails with

gcc -D__KERNEL__ -I/var/tmp/kernel-source-2.4.19/include -Wall -Wstrict-prototyp
es -Wno-trigraphs -O2 -fno-strict-aliasing -fno-common -fomit-frame-pointer -pip
e -mno-fp-regs -ffixed-8 -mcpu=ev5 -Wa,-mev6 -DMODULE -DMODVERSIONS -include /va
r/tmp/kernel-source-2.4.19/include/linux/modversions.h -nostdinc -I /usr/lib/gc
c-lib/alpha-linux/2.95.4/include -DKBUILD_BASENAME=ambassador -c -o ambassador.
o ambassador.c
