Re: graphical browser for alpha/stable
Hi everyone,
I've not tried Galeon on Debian Testing but have tried
Mozilla 0.9.9-6.
So far as I know, Mozilla on Testing has two issue
(please correct me if I'm mistaken):
1. Javascript form submission doesn't work:
http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=121115
It appears that this is a gcc problem on Alpha :(
2. Mozilla (on Debian/Alpha) still appears to
segfault on animated GIFs.
I haven't been using the Alpha for web browsing lately
but haven't seen a new Mozilla since experiencing
this. I actually had better luck with 0.9.8 and am
wondering if anyone still has those .debs.
Has everyone's experience with Galeon been much
better?
Thanks,
sousa
