system clock on the sx164 under srm
I have an sx164 motherboard. The debian documentation suggests that booting via SRM
and aboot is preferred over the AlphaBios and milo. I am currently running the
2.2.14 kernel from the redhat distribution and converted to srm and now my
system clock gains about 10 seconds an hour. A search of the newsgroups
reveals that this is a known problem and is fixed by the milo pal code. Does
anybody know of a kernel-patch or a similar fix so I can use srm. I prefer srm
but 10 seconds an hour is intolerable.
Thanks
David
