SRM does not connect to the Debian/Alpha's bootpd

Hi,
I have been tried to boot my multia and eb164 from network.
I setup my XP1000 which runs potato as a bootp server.
But SRM does not seem to get the IP address from the server.
When I boot the eb164 with the other method, the bootptest command
works fine.
Finally, I found that when I setup the SUN sparcstation as a bootp
server, both eb164 and multia could get the address and boot file.

I think it may be a bug of the bootp package but not so sure.
Does anyone have same experience? Or has any comment?
