Unable to load root floppy on lx164

Howdy everybody,

I just got my paws on an AlphaPC 164LX, and am trying to install Slink.  I
have the lx164 rescue and drivers disks, and am using the following MILO
command:

MILO> boot fd0:/linux root=/dev/fd0 rw ramdisk_size=5120 load_ramdisk=1
prompt_ramdisk=1

No matter what, I get a kernel panic after trying to load the root floppy.
It tells me it's unable to find a ramdisk.

Can anybody give me some pointers on this?  The MILO version may be old,
it used to be a RedHat 5.2 box.
