Maybe the order in which the packages are unpacked can make a difference
(e.g. in the old version, /usr/share/gnome/gtkrc.ja was in
gnome-libs-data and not in gnome-bin, while that has been reversed in
this version).  So, try installing gnome-bin first (dpkg -i
/var/cache/apt/archives/gnome-bin_1.0.10-3.0.2_alpha.deb) and then
gnome-bin.

Alternatively, install both by hand and give the --force-overwrite flag.
