Re: slink->potato, 2.0.35->2.2.x
Hello,
I've finally got a more complete log of what I did. First, I
reinstalled from the March boot disks and put a minimal set of packages
from stable on the box (a LX164).

The lchown issues popped up just after libncurses was installed. I
then ar x'ed the other libs and installed them from data.tar.gz

Being that when I did this before, and replaced bash, and it still
died with a new kernel, I suspect it will happen again now. (Didn't have
the time yet to actually do it today; had to go to work).

Has anybody got a rescue disk for an LX164 with a small system running a
2.2 kernel yet?
Thanks again,
Michael.
