The 3D30 is a TGA2-based controller, which is *not* supported under XFree86.
It is a different chip than the old TGA1 found in UDBs.
There *is* a dumb VGA onboard (Cirrus, IIRC), but it's not really usable for
X since there's only 256K of memory for it to use, *and* the Cirrus-specific
support was never ported. You could, however, if desperate, run XF86_Mono on
it at 640x400... ;-}
